Camps & Classes
Camps & Classes
Our Tinker.Make.Innovate. classes, camps & workshops incorporate STEAM, Making, Design Thinking and Entrepreneurship to create opportunities for students to learn skills, problem solve and to invent solutions to real world problems.
Preschoolers enjoy a great outdoor space with climbing walls, dry creeks, 20ft teepee, sand and mud pit while engaging in unique projects that are drawn from their interests.
Elementary, Middle and High School students enjoy a 4000 sq ft Maker Space in Culver City where they can learn to use 3D printers, laser cutters, coding, wood working, e-textiles, paper circuitry, sewing and so much more.
We have winter, spring and summer camps for our young Los Angelenos. At our PeaPods Location, we hold camps for mini-makers aged 3-6 and at our maker space location, camps for elementary, middle and high schoolers.
Our camps provide STEAM learning opportunities while building growth mindset skills like frustration tolerance, collaboration, communication, grit and failing forward. Nothing comes out of a kit. Everything is from the child's mind.
Depending on the age and the projects, campers could learn to 3D model and 3D print, use our 80W laser cutter, electronics, e-textiles, paper circuits, prototyping skills, sewing, coding, woodworking and so much more.
Our proprietary Tinker.Make.innovate. process teaches empathy, product design and entrepreneurial skills.
After School Programs
Our after school programs are un-like any other programs in Los Angeles.
Our Tinker.Make.Innovate. programs provide opportunities for children to be inventors and entrepreneurs as they learn to use Science, Technology Engineering Art and Math to fulfill their visions. We help them to stretch their imaginations. They learn skills like coding to realize their inventions not to learn code for coding sake. They gain skills on our 3D printers, laser cutters, wood working tools. They learn how to incorporate electronics to bring their inventions alive. They can make a dance performance while learning to sew and use electronic textiles. Or bring their words alive with paper electronics.
Our Clubs are unique as well. Each club is project based and offers opportunities to learn skills, gain subject knowledge to help with school work and build community and growth mindset.
Workshops and Classes are designed by the community.
