With increased writing expectations as children enter kindergarten, often important foundational skills are overlooked, resulting in writing fatigue, illegible writing, frustration and resistance to writing activities. This course will help you identify whether or not your students possess the necessary skills to support handwriting and will give you strategies to assist their development. This course will demonstrate the importance of a multi-sensory program, like Handwriting Without Tears, to teaching students with various learning styles.
